How successful are we (India) in reducing poverty?
Dear Rachit Tripathi,
We have grossly failed in reducing poverty in India. To the contrary poverty and illiteracy are rising. Only on 17/11/2018 I have posted a mail on Quora itself for not only reducing but eradicating poverty & illiteracy in India from root. For your ready reference the post is reproduced below.
Q? HOW CAN WE ERADICATE ILLITERACY AND POVERTY FROM INDIA?
ANSWER:
The book: “INDIA IN CHAOS, ONLY JUDICIARY CAN SAVE”
Is a document - diagnosis to cure how India and other under-developed or developing nations of the world can accomplish unbounded progress and attain prosperity for their people and honor their Human Rights necessities?
PART –I
TOWARDS TRANSFORMING INDIA - I
To emancipate our people from the shackles of their centuries-old miseries and woes, we can begin as under;
-
Guarantee jobs to 100 percent workable hands within two to three years, not by way of charity or gratis, but by doing actual creative and developmental works, noted in Part 3 of the book.
-
Make optimum use of our talent and expertise and the mammoth human resource available with us.
-
Make judicious use of our natural and non-renewable resources.
-
Exercise population control and bring it down to the level of about 80 crore (from 136 crore in 2018) in 100 years. Refer the book how?
-
Remove illiteracy, ignorance and backwardness of our people by creating proper education system.
-
Rehabilitate the old, the disabled and destitute, and gradually eradicate disabilities and destitution for all times.
-
Motivate people through education to work for the nation and care for the fellow-beings.
-
Practice water management
-
Get prepared for disaster management
-
Optimize power generation
-
Improve the environment
-
Practice waste management (sanitation, sewage and garbage),
-
Put emphasis on IT (information technology) and R&D (research and development)
Part 3 of the book explains briefly how all the above can actually be achieved.
Please see Part II of my philosophy on 19/11/2018.
